Track & Field Events May Impact Bus Commutes

June 11, 2021
Lane Transit District (LTD) reminds community members and visitors who are attending the NCAA Track and Field Championships (June 9-12) and the 2021 U.S. Olympic Team Trials-Track and Field (June 18-27) that they will need to continue wearing masks over their nose and mouth, and practice social distancing on EmX and other LTD buses in compliance with state of Oregon and Federal regulations.

Because of social distancing requirements, LTD’s 40-foot buses can carry 20- passengers compared to 80 pre-pandemic. The District’s 60-foot buses now have a 30-passenger capacity compared to 100 prior to COVID-19. Due to an anticipated increase in ridership during the track and field events, all passengers are encouraged to plan their trips in advance to ensure they arrive at their final destinations in a timely manner.

LTD bus schedules are available here.

TrackTown USA is also providing transportation services during the Trials. Information about its service is available here.
