Motorists traveling near the intersection of W. 7th Avenue and Chambers Street will experience delays beginning Sunday, June 26, at noon and lasting through Monday, June 27, at 6 a.m.

During this time, traffic signal technicians will activate new signals recently installed by the West Eugene EmX project. While the traffic signals are down and new signals are being tested, the W. 7th Avenue and Chambers Street intersection will be controlled by traffic flaggers.

All businesses and property will remain accessible during this 18-hour construction period. To avoid delays on Chambers Street, motorists are advised to use Polk and Garfield streets for north and southbound travel. Those wishing to use W. 7th Avenue for eastbound travel are encouraged to use W. 13th Avenue.
