Bike
Did you know that bicycling just three hours per week reduces the risk of heart attack and stroke by 50 percent!
Whether you bike for transportation or for recreation, the Eugene/Springfield area is a great place to get around by bicycle. More than one hundred miles of multi-use trails, on-street bike lanes, and designated bike routes make it easy for cyclists to get where they need to go. It’s a fun, healthy, inexpensive alternative to driving that is attracting more and more commuters all the time.
Take your bike on any LTD bus and see more of our beautiful county. Check out the Eugene and Springfield Bike map at the links below and pedal along the sparkling McKenzie River, ride past historic covered bridges in Lowell, or cruise around downtown and the University of Oregon campus.
