LTD Implements Service Adjustments On March 11
Lane Transit District will reduce its Monday through Friday bus service, by 3.7%, effective Monday, March 11. This new weekday schedule runs tentatively until summer 2024. Weekend bus service schedules will remain the same.
“Many bus routes are being modified, but none are going away, so passengers will need to double check their bus schedule to make sure they know when their bus will arrive,” said Pat Walsh, LTD’s Chief Marketing Officer. “The reason for the service adjustment is simple: LTD needs more bus operators.” Walsh added “LTD is in the midst of a massive recruitment – and retention – effort specifically targeted towards bus operators, fleet mechanics and public safety officers.”
