Fares & Passes

The proposed increases listed below will be in addition to the adopted increases in cash fares effective September 1.

• Increase the adult monthly bus pass price from $38 to $45 (effective with September bus pass sales).
  
• Increase the youth and EZ Access reduced-fare monthly bus pass price from $19 to $22.50 (effective with September bus pass sales)
  

• Increase price of adult three-month passes from $103 to $122 and youth and EZ Access reduced-fare passes from $51.50 to $61 (effective with September pass sales).

• Discontinue token sales (effective September 1, 2008).

• Eliminate the Holiday Taxi Reimbursement program (effective September 1, 2008).

• Increase the Breeze fare to regular fare prices (effective September 1, 2008).

• Eliminate the EZ Access senior half-fare program. (Customers ages 19-64 will pay the full adult fare. Eligibility for the Honored Rider program will drop from age 70 to age 65.)

ADULTS: For ages 19-61.

YOUTH: Discounted fare for ages 6-18.  Proof of age may be required. 

SENIOR: Discounted fare for ages 62-69. Proof of age may be required.

HALF-FARE: For people with disabilities and Medicare cardholders. Special ID card required. Call LTD Customer Service for assistance.

CHILDREN: For ages 5 and under accompanied by parent or guardian.

HONORED RIDER: For ages 70 and over. Special ID card required. Call LTD Customer Service for assistance.

DAY PASS: Purchase on the bus. Good for unlimited rides all day.

TOKENS: Purchase at LTD Customer Service.

EZ Access
Seniors ages 62-69 and Medicare cardholders automatically qualify for half fares under the EZ Access Program. Customers with disabilities and/or medical conditions may qualify for half fares under the EZ Access program. Contact the LTD Customer Service Center at 687-5555 (800-735-2900 TTY-Oregon Relay) regarding requirements for certification.

Multi-Month Pass Discounts

LTD offers discounts to customers who purchase three monthly bus passes in advance. You can pick up the passes each month from the LTD Customer Service Center or you can have them mailed to you.

Smart Ways To School Student Transit Pass Program

This program makes available a free bus pass to all students enrolled in grades 6 – 12 in public and private schools in Eugene, Springfield, Bethel, and rural districts served by LTD.  The free bus pass uses the student's school photo identification card in conjunction with a validation sticker.  Passes become valid at the beginning of the school year and are valid through June 30, 2008.

LCC Bus Pass

No More Parking Hassles!
Instead of driving to campus and circling around looking for a parking place, ride the bus and study, read, or just relax on the trip!

For students taking credit courses on LCC's main campus, you qualify for an LCC Bus Pass! During the first week of each term, use your bus pass; during the second week, pick up your term sticker to attach to your ID.
