LTD Hosts Second State of the District Event
Lane Transit District (LTD) will host the State of the District on Tuesday, October 7, 2025. For this event, LTD will be joined by community and business partners like Lane Council of Governments and Cascadia Mobility , the Springfield and Eugene Chambers of Commerce, PeaceHealth , area school districts, and Merete Hotel Management .

Attendees will learn more about the work LTD and its partners are doing across Lane County, and celebrate some recent accomplishments. In the last year, LTD launched the Downtown Loop, installed a new fare validation service on EmX, increased service by 4%, and entered into an agreement with the Eugene Family YMCA to pursue the purchase of a property in Santa Clara for a second YMCA. LTD is taking a collaborative approach as it develops a robust transportation system that meets the diverse needs of Lane County, seeking advice and building relationships with community-based organizations, government agencies, area businesses, and educational institutions.
