Get to Know Michael, October 2025 Employee of the Month
Michael was nominated for willingly working a late shift to support the OCC Project’s power shutdown. On Sunday, he left church early to assist with repairs to the fence on our River Road property. This despite having worked the night before and expecting guests coming over for a cookout at his home.
Mike’s actions reflect his consistent commitment to our team. He is always willing to lend a hand, even when it means adjusting his personal plans. His positive attitude and readiness to step in make him an invaluable part of LTD.
Michael is a Facilities Generalist II and has been part of the LTD family for 7 years.
Passionate about: “I love bow-hunting with my daughter, Denver Broncos, and Oregon Ducks Football, vacations with my family, spending time with my wife, Ann Marie (Procurement), and my faith.”
Favorite things about LTD: “It’s the wonderful people I get to work closely with every day. It is great to help provide a needed service for people in our community while working alongside of a team of people that I enjoy spending time with. It’s been a great almost seven years here at LTD and I look forward to many more.”

Coast or Cascades?
“Cascades 100%. The coast is beautiful, but is usually windy, cooler than I desire, and sandy. I love the recreation opportunities and beauty of the Cascades.”
What’s one thing that always makes you smile while you’re on the job?
“My co-workers definitely make me smile more than anything else. We have a good time.”
Best product or invention developed in Oregon?
“I would have to go with Bowtech compound bows from Eugene. I have had one for many years and it has served me well.”
Best LTD route/stop/station?
“My favorite LTD stop is the one about 50 yards from my house. It is nice there is a stop very close to my house in both directions.”
Ducks or Beavers?
“Definitely Ducks. I moved to Eugene in 1998 and didn’t have a favorite college team at the time. The Ducks made it easy to become a fan.”
