Lane Transit District (LTD) is here to help people get around during the 2026 NCAA outdoor track and field championships, taking place at the University of Oregon’s Hayward Field from Wednesday, June 10 through Saturday, June 13.

“LTD is thrilled to welcome fans to Eugene for the championships, and we know the university area gets busy,” said Eric Breitenstein, LTD’s Marketing Director. “If you’re visiting, skip the rental car and parking headaches—ride LTD instead. You’ll get to Hayward Field easily, stay out of traffic, and travel alongside fellow fans.”

This is the 17th time the championships have been held in Eugene .

In addition to riding EmX to the championships, LTD’s bus system can take people all over the area.

“Once you’re here, LTD makes it easy to go beyond Hayward,” added Breitenstein. “Take the bus or grab a PeaceHealth Rides bike to explore Eugene like a local. You can visit nearby shops, check out our robust local food scene, or head out to our parks and trails.”

Details about how to get around via LTD are available here, or you can take a PeaceHealth Rides bike , by our partners at Cascadia Mobility . LTD partners with Transit to deliver real-time information and help with trip planning.
