25th annual Stuff the Bus Food & Toy Drive

On November 13 and 14, Land Transit District (LTD) will partner with KDUK, US 101.5, local Walmart, and Food for Lane County to bring the 25th annual Stuff the Bus challenge to benefit families in need this holiday season.
Over the years, Stuff the Bus has raised tens of thousands of pounds of food for Food for Lane County, as well as tens of thousands of toys to help the US Marine Corps on their mission to bring the joy of a holiday toy to area children.
Friday, November 13
6:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Olympic St Walmart in Springfield
Saturday, November 14
8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Green Acres Walmart in Eugene
With the pandemic and the fires, this year food pantries are being stretched to the brink. Wondering what to donate? Here are some great ideas to get you started:
Peanut Butter (or other nut/seed)
Tuna
Canned Vegetables
Canned Fruit
Soups (Canned or Aseptic container)
Chili
Cooking Oils, Salad Oils
Dry Pasta, Rice, or Dry Beans
*Non-perishable food items only and new, unwrapped toys.

This year’s drive will be CONTACT-LESS to meet Covid protocols – and while it may look a little different now that the need is greater than ever!
