Feds Keep The Masks On LTD And Public Transportation
The Federal Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has extended the requirement for passengers to wear face masks covering their nose and mouth aboard public transportation, including on Lane Transit District (LTD) buses and at the District’s stations, through May 3, 2022.
“On behalf of all of us at LTD, I want to thank our passengers for their continued patience and compliance with the federal face mask requirement for riding public buses,” said Mark Johnson, LTD’s Interim General Manager. “We are all ready to be done with face masks, but we need to keep practicing this health-first protocol a little while longer so we can get back to pre-pandemic public travel.”
