Be Seen at Your Stop

When Day Light Savings Time ends this weekend, Lane Transit District (LTD) is offering tips and personal lights to make sure passengers, pedestrians, and cyclists are seen at their bus stop during the fall and winter shorter days of sunlight.

Transit Riders: ï‚·
  • Stand up as the bus approaches your stop ï‚·
  • Use a cell phone or light to signal the bus operator ï‚·
  • Wear light-colored or reflective clothing

Cyclists and Pedestrians: ï‚·
  • Wear bright and/or reflective clothing ï‚·
  • Use a light or bike light so that drivers can see you ï‚·
  • When walking, face oncoming traffic

For those people who need a light to be seen when walking, waiting at a bus stop, or need a bike light, please visit the LTD Customer Service Center at 1080 Willamette St., Mon – Fri, 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. to pick one up for free, while supplies
