Get Out of the Smoke with a Free Bus Ride
Lane Transit District (LTD) will keep its Customer Service Center in the Downtown Eugene Station open until 10 p.m. tonight to provide community members respite from the smoke. In addition, LTD is providing free bus service to the bus stops closest to the smoke respite center at Trinity Methodist Church, 440 Maxwell Road, and to the First Christian Church, 1166 Oak Street.
Passengers traveling to LTD’s Customer Service Center, Trinity Methodist Church, or Frist Christian Church can ride with LTD for free by informing the bus operator they are going to the Smoke Respite Center.
