Halloween: Sweet Treats, Reflective Bracelets, and Thriller

October 27, 2022

Lane Transit District (LTD) reminds Trick or Treaters to stop at the Eugene Station for treats and reflective safety bracelets during the Downtown Eugene Merchants Halloween Celebration on Sat., Oct. 29, 2022, from noon to 5 pm.

“The treats are sweet, but we want to connect every child with a reflective wristband so they can be seen when it is dark outside during Halloween and throughout the year,” said Cammie Harris, LTD’s Marketing and Communications Representative. “We are looking forward to a happy and safe Halloween celebration.”

In addition, Trick or Treaters who are visiting the Eugene Station around 4 p.m. on Saturday will get an extra Halloween Thrill! LTD is preparing for a flash mob to appear near Bus Bay D, dancing to Michael Jackson’s Thriller.

“We hope people will enjoy the Thriller Flash Mob and join in the Halloween celebration,” Harris said. “The treats, reflective bracelets, and Thriller are fun ways to bring the community together during this annual celebration.”

LTD staff will be passing out candy and reflective bracelets from a booth near the Rosa Parks statue at the corner of 10th Avenue and Olive Street, across from the Eugene Public Library.
