Jackson Featured on Women in Transportation Panel
LTD General Manager Aurora (AJ) Jackson was one of three women executives in transit featured in a national conversation about their pathways to leadership in the industry during Women’s History Month.
In celebration of Women’s History Month, the American Public Transportation Association (APTA) and Women Transportation Seminar (WTS) hosted the panel featuring Jackson, Inez Evans, President and CEO, Indianapolis Public Transportation Corporation (IndyGo), Indianapolis, Ind. and Jennifer Mitchell, Director, Virginia Department of Rail and Public Transportation, Richmond, Virginia.
Paula Hammond, Chair, WTS International and Senior Vice President, National Transportation Market Leader, WSP USA, Seattle, moderated the panel. Hammond led the panelists in a discussion about the key leadership principles they abide by and what key initiatives have they undertaken in an unprecedented and challenging year.
