LTD Names Quentin Price Employee of the Year
Lane Transit District’s Employee of the Year is Quentin Price, Public Safety Officer. LTD’s Employee Committee chose him for the honor out of 11 exemplary colleagues who had been named Employee of the Month in 2023.
CEO Jameson Auten announced the award during LTD’s Employee Banquet on Sunday, January 29. “Quentin personifies humility and a dedication to public service. He’s always smiling and does an excellent job of keeping our passengers and employees safe,” said Auten.
Prior to joining LTD, Price had been in the public safety field for 16 years. Born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, Price has an associate degree in Criminal Justice from Baltimore City Community College and also received Crisis Intervention Training from the Eugene Police Department and Lane County Sheriff’s Office.
“I’m honored to have received this award. I love the people I work with, as well as serving and protecting our community,” said Price. He has been in his current position for three years.
