LTD Recognized for Excellence in Financial Reporting
Lane Transit District (LTD) has been awarded the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting from the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) for its annual comprehensive financial report for the fiscal year that ended June 30, 2022.
“Recognition by the GFOA confirms the outstanding work LTD’s finance team does every day to ensure the District’s financial reporting meets the highest standard, including for transparency,” said Jameson T. Auten, LTD’s Chief Executive Officer. “I am proud of the work this team does to ensure LTD is a strong, responsible steward of the funding it receives through federal, state and local sources.”
LTD’s financial reporting was judged by an impartial panel to ensure it met the highest standards of the GFOA Financial Reporting Program, which included demonstrating a constructive "spirit of full disclosure" to clearly communicate the District’s financial story and motivate potential users and groups to read the report.
It is the 27th time LTD has received this prestigious award from the GFOA.
