LTD Rider Survey Considers Improvements To Service
The year-long LTD System Review is underway now. Alongside hired the consulting firm Nelson Nygaard, Lane Transit District will identify opportunities for improving fixed route service in the Eugene-Springfield area. They’ll also examine rural route service to other communities in Lane County.
The System Review requires robust community engagement, including an on-board survey, virtual public meetings, and stakeholder discussions. Information gathered from these activities will be used to develop short- and long-term improvement recommendations.
LTD is also hosting two online Open House sessions to better understand service needs and priorities. These will take place Wednesday, Dec. 6th, 2023:
- 12:00 – 1:00 P.M.
- 6:00 – 7:00 P.M.

LTD is evaluating current and past performance and assessing COVID-19-related service reductions. LTD plans to identify service improvement options by the summer of 2024.​
