LTD Receives National Recognition for Safety

LTD has been recognized by the American Public Transportation Association (APTA) for its initiatives to keep employees and passengers safe during the COVID-19 outbreak.
“We thank you and your agency for participating in the program and helping to demonstrate the public transit industry’s commitment to keeping riders and employees safe,” said Bill Maroni, APTA’s Senior Director/Executive Communication in a message to LTD. “On behalf of the Mobility Recovery & Restoration Task Force, I’m pleased to provide you with the Health & Safety Commitments Certificate.”
LTD received the APTA national recognition for following official guidelines from public health officials and agencies; keeping vehicles and facilities disinfected and maintained by industry standards; requiring face coverings; promoting informed choices by communicating timely information and promoting physical distancing and advancing health-first among employees and transit users.
