Only a Few Bus Schedules Change on Sept. 10
Lane Transit District (LTD) passengers should check their bus schedules before they head out to their bus stop on Sunday, Sept. 10, 2023, when LTD’s fall bus schedule goes into effect.
With the exceptions of Route 79X, Route 81, and Route 82, all other bus route schedules remain the same. Here are the bus schedule adjustments to the three routes mentioned:
Route 79x – UO/Kinsrow – Weekday
Service will resume Sept. 18 with the addition of four new trips in the evening at 7:00 p.m., 8:00 p.m., 9:00 p.m., and 10:00 p.m.
Route 81 – LCC/Hilyard – Weekday/Saturday
Timepoint changes on some weekday trips. Saturday service will resume starting Sept. 16.
Route 82 – LCC/Pearl – Weekday
Reduced summer service will end with the start of the fall service changes on Sept. 10.
No Service until Further Notice on Routes 27, 73, and 78.
Typically, LTD adjusts bus service three times per year (Summer, Fall, and Winter) based on passengers’ travel and service demands. The District’s transportation planners study ridership patterns months in advance of a service change to create a bus schedule that meets the needs of passengers and matches the service offerings LTD can provide based on available resources.
