South Lane Wheels to Resume Service on Monday, January 22
Three transit services in the Cottage Grove community will resume full service on Monday, January 22.
Service had been suspended due to power outages and debris on:
· Cottage Grove Connector, a curb-to-curb service operating within City limits;
· Origin to Destination Service, providing scheduled transportation services for residents within Cottage Grove and South Lane County.
South Lane Wheels, who operates the services, had power and internet restored and is ready to resume service.
Today’s announcement follows Lane Transit District’s resumption of service, including Route 98 Cottage Grove, on Thursday, January 18, along with RideSource and Diamond Express.
Some LTD routes still may be modified due to icy conditions and tree debris. Check LTD’s Service Alerts page for the most updated information.
Teams continue to clear LTD’s 1300 bus stops, two primary stations, eight neighborhood transfer stations, 60 EmX platforms, and 20 miles of bus lanes. Some stops may still not be completely cleared yet, so riders should use their best judgment when approaching a stop.
