Veterans Ride LTD for Free on Veterans Day
Veterans of the United States Armed Forces can ride for free on Lane Transit District (LTD) buses in honor of Veterans Day, Monday, Nov. 11, 2024.
Veterans need to tell the bus operator that they served in the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Space Force, or Coast Guard, and their ride is free.
Veterans who receive 50% or higher disability benefits are also eligible for half-price bus fares aboard LTD buses. Military Veterans aged 65 and over are always eligible to ride LTD buses for free with an Honored Rider pass. Anyone 65 years and older can enroll in the Honored Rider pass program at the Customer Service centers in Eugene and Springfield. More information about fares is available online.
LTD will operate regular bus service on Veterans Day. The Customer Service Center will be open during their regular hours, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Complete bus schedules are available online.
