LTD Seeks New Members for Strategic Planning Committee
Lane Transit District is looking for community members to serve on its Strategic Planning Committee (SPC). SPC seeks new members from the community, including industry/large employers, small business, public health, transportation, affordable housing, bus passengers, and others to join a core group of members from LTD’s Board of Directors, elected officials, and Oregon Department of Transportation.
The SPC provides the Board with an independent perspective on a variety of issues, including LTD’s Long-Range Transit Plan. Topics range from making better connections and reducing trip and wait times, to creating safer ways to access service and optimizing solutions for urban and rural areas.
SPC members must reside within the LTD service district area. Applications are available here. All members are voting members. Terms are two years and members may be eligible for reappointment for up to three additional two-year terms, for a total term of eight years. These positions will remain open until filled. LTD’s SPC meets bi-monthly at 5:30 p.m. on the fourth Tuesday of the month.
